EcoVadis, the world’s leading and most reliable and recognised sustainability platform, encourages companies to take positive steps in the field of sustainability by evaluating their performance from environmental to social and ethical practices through rating systems. To date, more than 50,000 companies have been evaluated by Ecovadis under four main headings of sustainability. These headings are; Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.
As KABKOM KİMYA, we have joined the independent rating organisation Ecovadis in 2024 to evaluate our own and suppliers’ corporate social responsibility practices. By participating in this process, we have taken another step within the scope of laboratory, quality and sustainability commitment.
With this process, we took part in this process to harmonise entrepreneurial freedom with sustainability in all business processes, from product planning to employee retention and trust-based partnerships with our customers.
As we mentioned before, in our process, which we started in 2024, we received 57 points in the first reporting year with the points we received in return for our responses to the EcoVadis survey and our responses to the survey, and we gained access to the Commitment badge.
Thus, KABKOM KİMYA has documented its vision in the field of sustainability. Together with all our stakeholders and partners, we will carry our mission further by adhering to our sustainability principles in the future.
In addition, as KABKOM KİMYA, we anticipate that we will be in a stronger position for the upcoming EcoVadis survey with the Corporate Carbon Footprint project that we will realise this year in order to improve ourselves and maintain our sustainability.

KABKOM KİMYA is an organisation committed to meeting legal requirements for environmental protection, preventing environmental pollution and continuously improving environmental protection in accordance with ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System. In addition, commitment to our employees and acceptance of responsibility for the environment and public health towards society as a whole is a high priority in our corporate culture.
In line with these principles and priorities, our production facility in Tire, Izmir, has implemented the ISO 9001 : 2015 Quality Management System, ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management System and ISO 27001:2022 Information Security Management certificates.
Our aim is to get as close as possible to the ideal of a sustainable way of living and doing business. Thanks to our ideal management system, which is constantly changing and developing over time, we ensure the continuous improvement of our processes and activities by effectively implementing our goals as our corporate philosophy.
In line with international developments and sustainability activities, KABKOM KİMYA endeavours to take steps in this direction by supporting its employees, suppliers and subcontractors to widely adopt environmental awareness.
